Extraordinary Musical Talent

Franklin Pimentel, a Dominican native, has devoted his life to worshipping the Lord through his music. Not only is he dedictaed to his music but he is a loving and devoted husband and father. It is an honor to call him a friend. For the last 25+ years he has stayed true to his calling. The music industry, especially Christian music, in the Dominican Republic is nothing like we see it here in America. Success is very difficult and often times impossible. Despite these challenges, Franklin has persevered by using his own money to record and distribute his music. With his talent as a songwriter, musician and vocalist, he could have changed genres and went to something more popular in pursuit of worldly treasures but it is not about the popularity and money. Franklin said to me, "God gives you gifts and if you dont use them for his glory then they are wasted."

Franklin has partnered up with Servants Heart. He and his family volunteer to help operate one of our food programs. In fact, Franklin went with our team to Haiti in January to deliever relief items. He truly has a heart of gold and a love for the Lord. In an effort to give back to someone who has been so gracious and giving to us, while supplies last, you can obatin his latest CD.
